AUTOMATED 18” x 48” NICKEL BARREL PLATING LINE

•(3) Overhead hoists, 1500# capacity w/ stainless legs, polypro belt lifts

•Hoist positioning via servo-encoder 

•Floor-mounted nut & bolt structure approx 115” long x 13’ wide x 12’ 6” tall

•Allen Bradley PLC control system

•Located in Connecticut

•System can produce 10 loads per hour with 12 stations of nickel plate

•(35) stations overall

•Tanks 62” long x 36” deep

•All tanks but (1) made of 1” thick, fusion welded polypro w/ external girth bands

•Counterflow rinsing, water adjustable, control by HMI w/ Dwyer flow meters

•Push-pull exhaust system with fume scrubber

•Electric immersion heaters w/ liquid level safety controllers

•All electrified tanks furnished w/ 1” diameter solid copper anode rods

•Electrified tanks bussed to both ends for 1000 amps DC

•Electrocleaners (2) include steel anodes, nickel tanks include titanium anode baskets

•1000 amp/12 volt air cooled modular switch mode, computer controlled rectifiers for (2) electrocleaner tanks

•1000 amp/20 volt air cooled modular switch mode computer controlled rectifiers for (12) nickel stations

•(18) 18” diameter x 48” long plating barrels with plastisol coated structures and auto hoist pick-ups

•(2) Mefiag horizontal disc filter systems, model # 6500, (1) for each (6) cell nickel tank

•(2) Desco Model 2318 electrically heated centrifugal dryers and (4) polypro baskets

•System is pre-packaged with all electrical wiring, plumbing provided to as required
